PROCESS
In this thrilling novel by Agatha Christie we are introduced to ten mysterious strangers who seemingly have no connection to one another. The reader slowly finds out that each guest has an ugly past they are actively hiding, avoiding, or outright dismissing. As their transgressions are revealed, they are mysteriously killed off one by one in increasingly brutal fashion. The novel is a gripping psychological thriller that explores competing ideas of guilt, a justice, and the twisted underbelly of human nature.

I was riffing off the idea that Wargraves' own bloodlust and sense of justice are what propel the story. How he's just chasing them down one by one- all because of their past misdeeds.
In the darkness, the light acts as his sense of justice 'tracking down' and revealing the names of the cast. Once revealed they flicker/flash/distort and expose an ugly nature before dissolving/fading away.
